Beach Fun Day at Barmouth

Why not join Gwynedd Council’s Biodiversity team at Barmouth for an afternoon of fun activities and games on Thursday – August 11th.  Join in our quizzes, games and sand castle competition.  Experience of building sand castles is an advantage, and there is no age limit!  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  If you’re artistic enough, you might even win a prize!

Alison Hargrave, Special Areas of Conservation Officer with Gwynedd Council, said:

“This fun and free event for all the family is a great way to get out and enjoy some of the wonderful beaches Gwynedd has to offer. If you fancy searching for anemones, or even if you just fancy having a go at sculpting your favourite sea creature, come along to Barmouth beach and join in the fun.”

Look for the Pen Llŷn a’r Sarnau gazebo and banners on the beach – we’ll be there from 1 – 4pm.  Remember your bucket and spade and lots of imagination!
