Sea Watch at Porth Yasgden

Why not join Gwynedd Council’s Biodiversity team at Porth Ysgaden to look out for birds, dolphins and other sea mammals on Saturday 15th September 2012.

There will be a warm welcome for everyone to take part and to enjoy one of Gwynedd’s fantastic stretches of coastline.  Why not bring a picnic?  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Alison Hargrave, Special Areas of Conservation Officer with Gwynedd Council, said:

“This fun and free event for all the family is a great way to get out and enjoy some of the wonderful coastline that Gwynedd has to offer.  If you fancy a chance of spotting a dolphin, some seals or some interesting birds or you just fancy a relaxing few hours with a picnic then come and join us at Porth Ysgaden.”

Meet at the car park SH219375 at 10am or join us on the headland between 10am and 1pm.

This event has been organised by Gwynedd Council to celebrate Welsh Wildlife. For more information visit or contact Alison Hargrave, Special Area of Conservation Officer with Gwynedd Council on 01286 679495 or email:
