Pollution
Pollution, especially within the marine environment, is a global problem, the ocean currents link all the countries in the world and create a ‘conveyor belt' spreading pollutants from country to country. These activities focus on one specific form of pollution, plastic, this type of pollution provides a good example because the effects are so considerable and actions to combat it can be taken at an individual level.
Interesting Facts
Over 12 million tonnes of plastic ends up in our oceans every year roughly the same weight as 1,270,000 blue whales.
