Choughs
A member of the highly intelligent corvid family like crows and jackdaws, the cough are glossy black birds with bright red/orange bills and feet. Closely linked to their habitat of coastal heathland, numbers of chough have declined along with this rare habitat. Now only found in Cornwall, some Scottish islands and patches along the coast of Wales, the Llŷn peninsula and the North coast of Anglesey are good places to see them.
